Desheng Business Hotel - Shaoshan

The hotel was modern and comfortable, with beautifully decorated rooms that were clean and tidy. the location was great, right in the city center, and affordable taxi services were available to all cultural heritage sites. the in-room large screen TV was a hit and offered access to a multitude of channels, including DVD quality movies. the staff were very supportive and friendly too.

The noise from traffic was pretty bad at times, and Chinese drivers' constant honking could be heard through our window. It would have been better if sound-proof windows were installed.

Had a fantastic New Year experience at this modern and comfortable hotel. It offers clean, beautiful decorated rooms and excellent in-room entertainment facilities, including a large-screen TV with access to a multitude of channels, including high-quality movie access. The hotel is situated in a key location with quick and affordable taxi services to all the city's cultural heritage sites. the hotel staff is very supportive and friendly.

The only downside we found was the traffic noise from outside, especially the incessant honking of the Chinese drivers which made it difficult to sleep at times. However, we believe that installing soundproof windows could help solve the problem.
